Early 1900s French Silk Bow or Communion Sash with Cross Design and Fringes - French Shabby Chic Decor and Wedding - With Presentation Box

A gorgeous French vintage silk holy communion bow / arm band that young boys were wearing during their Holy Communion. This particular bow comes with a gorgeous crocheted cross and fringe detail. The color is ivory, light cream. A beautiful addition to your French inspired romantic home or wedding {Flower boy or ring bearer}

Condition: This bow is in very good vintage with barely any stain nor damage. It looks like it was never used and comes with its presentation box. The ribbon that attach the bow to the arm shows some holes. I suspected it was pinned many times inside the box to keep the bow up and straight. The bottom fringes shoes a bit of wrinkles for sitting so long inside the box, but they can easily be steamed back to straight. The original hook is still present so the bow can attach nicely to your dress form. The box shows some damage and bent. Click on ZOOM for larger pictures.
