Early 1900s French Wooden Retail Cookie Display - Biscuits Pernot - Shabby and Country Decor

A very rare early 1900s wooden retail display for Biscuit Pernot, a French cookies. The company started operating in 1870 and had a great extension until the mid 1930s. They were manufacturing around 30 different types of cookies and their moto was PAC: Pratique, Avantageux, Conservation assured which translates to Practical, Beneficial / Advantageous, Assured preservation.

This retail display is from 1900s - 1930s and super rare. It still has some of the stickers that were instructing the retailer where to place the cookies. A nice and unique addition to a shabby or rustic / farmhouse kitchen.

Condition: This display is in good vintage condition considering its age. The paper part on the top has some tears and should be handle very carefully. A part of wooden panel on the right side arrived broken, so I had to glue it back {Picture 3}. There is a little chip missing on the bottom {Picture 3}. Although the unit is sturdy, it still needs to be manipulate with great care because the wood is so old. Click on ZOOM for larger pictures.
