1950s French Large Kitchen Tin Cans - Sugar and Chicory - Burgundy and Black - Industrial and Rustic Decor

A unique set of 2 large French vintage tin canisters designed to store Sugar (sucre} and Chicory {Chicoree} from the 1950s. They have a rustic burgundy and black colors. A Lovely and nostalgic french Rustic decoration. Click on ZOOM for larger pictures.

They were made as an advertising and consumer incentive by the candy maker "Fabrique de Confiserie Billiemaz & Borgel" located in the city of Bregnier Gordon {Ain Department}. This company was in operation in the 1920s - 1950s.

Condition: These canisters are definitely in vintage condition with some markings and rust that are part of their vintage look. Both can be open although not quite easily. They have no dents but have darkened with time and some trace of oxidation can be found inside. The top also shows a little bit of rust. For display only.
