Vintage French Enamel Street Business Plate for Glass-making / Cupping Glasses

A really nice vintage French street business sign from the 1920s / 1930s. This sign was affixed on the street to announce a business, here a glass-making workshop J.B. Renault specialized in cupping glasses.

This plate is really heavy and convex unlike the more recent ones. The sign is signed by the maker Bellan in Paris. We assume this glass-making workshop was based in the Paris area too.

The sign reads:

J. B. Renault
Verrerie en tous genre (Various glass-making)
Ventouses "l'Ideale" brevetée S.G.D.G. et ventouses ordinaires (Cupping glasses brand "l'Ideale" patented S.G.D.G. and ordinary cupping glasses)

S.G.D.G. is for: Sans garantie du gouvernement - Translated to "not guaranteed by the government"

Condition: This sign is in good vintage condition with limited rust and enamel chips. There is one big chip on the left side as seen on picture 2. The black letters are really popping against the white background.
