Our 2021 harvest Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made exclusively from olives we grow in our estate, following organic farming practice.
This blend is made out of 5 Tuscany olives that are known for their high level in Polyphenols: Frantoio, Leccino, Maurino, Moraiolo, and Pandolino. We harvest by hand and cold press our olives on site always within less than 24 hours.
Flavor Profile
Chateau de Luz 2021 Traditional blend's aroma mostly reflected ripe olive with the primary descriptor of nutty. Additional descriptors included cherry and woody hints of green olives and hay-straw. She has a mild astringency and medium robustness.
Certificate of Analysis (Redone in Oct 2022)
Our Traditional blend has been tested by a third party Lab accredited by the IOC (International Olive Council} to establish its chemical profile to determine its authenticity. It is raw and unfiltered to preserve its maximum potency.

Storage
EVOO is extremely sensitive to light, heat and oxygen which cause its oxidation and rancidity. For an optimal experience, we recommend to finish your bottle within 30 days after opening. Leave your unopened bottles in a cold and dark place.

The Olive Oil is superb. Smell, texture, and taste. I am glad we found a place in California and not having to order from Italy. We will be ordering again soon.

The Chateau de Lux Extra Virgin Olive Oil is superior by far to any other olive oils I have purchased in the past. The flavor is earthy, with notes of a fruity flavor, just the right touch of bitter and smooth like butter to the palate!! I love to use Chateau de Luz to dress my salads and my family especially enjoy dipping fresh baked french bread into this fabulous olive oil! 😋. I am enjoying scrumptious salads and cuisines that are optimal healthy with this marvelous Chateau de Luz olive oil, and also having beautifying effect on my skin and hair as well!!
